Leading the way…
On the day of the funeral itself, I’ll arrive at the venue in good time to greet you in person. I’ll lead the whole ceremony from the front, opening with some warm words of welcome to help put everyone at ease.
I’ll introduce each person and make sure that the order of service is followed throughout. I’ll take responsibility for any music or musical tributes to your loved one, often accompanied by photographs. On most occasions, I’ll present the eulogy (sometimes others may wish to do so) and I’ll give the farewell words at the end of the funeral. This might be something I’ve written or something you’d like me to read. After the service, I’ll present you with a parchment of the eulogy in a presentation folder.
